CHICAGO, ILLINOIS (BNO NEWS) – A Chicago, Illinois man was arrested ... after Saturday midnight immediately after placing a backpack which he thought contained an explosive device into a trash can near a crowded street corner...

... Hassoun, a Lebanese citizen and permanent resident alien, expressed to an associate his desire to commit acts of violence in the city for both monetary gain and to cause political transformation in Chicago...

...In June, Hassoun and the cooperating witness discussed possible targets and plots, including a biological attack on the city, poisoning Lake Michigan, attacking police officers, bombing the Sears Tower, and assassinating the mayor...

Someone should have told Hussein, I meant Hassoun, that there's only a few guys who are allowed to perform political "transformations", especially in Chicago.

One, of course, is Øbama's BFF (Bolshevik Friends Forever?) and admitted terrorist Pentagon bomber Bill Ayers, for whom Øbama, as chair of an Annenberg Foundation board doled out millions of dollars for Ayer's far-left "school" projects, (only later to claim during the 2008 campaign that Ayers was "just a guy a I know from the neighborhood").

Astute readers will also note that Ayers (along with his fellow bombette/wife Bernadette Dohrn, and big-time Øbama–fundraiser and leader of the far-Left group Code Pinko (sic) Jodie Evans were also organizers and fundraisers for the so-called Gaza Flottilla, a typical Weatherman operation that concluded in death and mayhem while attempting to "break the blockade" enable Hamas to more easily procure weapons and explosives by sea.

But those who followed the 2008 campaign (and maybe even supported Palin and McWhathisname) might remember that Transformation™ is claimed by the BIG ZERO, and it's clear that he won't tolerate any competition, as evidenced by his intensity in this 24 second clip:




Maybe King Øbowmao will be beneficent and send our wannabe' Lebanese transformer bomber back to Beirut, where he can help with the "Imminent Coup by Hezbollah in Lebanon"... We know Øbama isn't too worried about it, as he is still pushing to restore $100,000,000 in Lebanon military aid, "despite Congress fears of threat to Israel"....

Senior Palestinian Authority negotiator Nabil Shaath has announced that the PA will never accept Israel as a Jewish state. In addition, he threatened war if the PA fails to obtain its demands through negotiations, saying, “A Palestinian state will arise, either through negotiations or through armed resistance.”

The Arab League voted last week to support PA Chairman Abbas' refusal to recognize Israel as Jewish.

Shaath said that recognizing Israel as Jewish state would undermine the PA's demand for the “right of return,” which would grant Israeli citizenship to the millions of descendants of Arab who fled Israel during its War of Independence.

He also claimed that accepting a Jewish state “will directly threaten the Muslim and Christian Palestinians in Israel.”

The PA has demanded that no Jewish residents remain in the territory it claims as the location of a future Arab state, including any Israelis in Judea and Samaria who would be willing to become PA citizens. (rest at this link

That last paragraph should dispel the latest "one–state" fantasy that was been running around again this past summer.

One can only take comfort from the fact that the Arabs have at least blown up another suicidal idea from the Left with "only" a few casualties rather than to actually allow them to implement another Oslocide.

We "realists" have been saying it for years. It's not about "Sharing The Land" or the "poor oppressed Arabs", it's about EXTERMINATING ISRAEL AND JUDAISM.

It's the same HOLY WAR Islam has been waging for centuries.

Russia 'irresponsible' for selling arms to Syria: Israel

Israel on Sunday denounced as irresponsible the reported sale by Russia of P-800 Yakhont cruise missiles to Syria, saying it could threaten the strategic balance in the region.

News of the sale emerged on Friday when Russian Defence MinisterAnatoly Serdyukov told reporters in Washington that Moscow would fulfil a 2007 contract to supply Yakhont cruise missiles to Damascus,Russia's ITAR-TASS news agency reported.

The sale, worth at least 300 million dollars, will see Syria receiving around 72 cruise missiles, the Interfax news agency said on Sunday, citing defence industry sources.

"This decision translates into a very poor demonstration of responsibility by a country which sees itself as influential and which claims to act in favour of regional stability," a senior Israeli government official told AFP, speaking on condition of anonymity. (rest at link above)

Israel should sink the ship or shoot down the planes delivering these missiles. Or better yet, bomb the delivery / installation site before they are operational. With any luck Putin might be there picking up his check.

UPDATE:

RIA on Friday quoted Serdyukov as saying the United States feared the Yakhonts could end up in the hands of "terrorists" -- an apparent reference to Hezbollah, which surprised Israel by hitting one of its warships with a cruise missile in a 2006 war.

Serdyukov called such concerns "fruitless", RIA said.

Lieberman said that Israeli Defence Minister Ehud Barak, who visited Moscow this month to sign a military cooperation pact, had "dealt with the (Yakhont) issue, but things didn't work out".

Let's see, we'll send a quasi-commie (who tried to give away 97% of Israel in exchange for some of Clinton's cigars) to negotiate with ex-commies who have already sold NUCLEAR PROCESSING PLANTS TO IRAN.
