Astute (and patient) JewPoint readers will recall that we excoriated Prof. D. 2 years ago for whining about being attacked and for being called a nazi by leftists and pro-jihadis, especially because "It was irrelevant to these chanters that I also support a Palestinian state, the end of the Israeli occupation and the dismantling of most of the settlements.

Earlier this week, when we wrote about the Harvard jihadists in the School of Govt that

Who knew that Prof. D would be doing the heavy lifting?

WASHINGTON - A prominent Harvard law professor, Alan Dershowitz, is alleging that the authors of a Harvard Kennedy School paper about the "Israel lobby," one of which is the Kennedy School's academic dean, culled sections of the paper from neo-Nazi and other anti-Israel hate Web sites.

"What we're discovering first of all is that the quotes that they use are not only wrenched out of context, but they are the common quotes that appear on hate sites," Mr. Dershowitz, who is identified in the paper as part of the "lobby," told The New York Sun yesterday.

"The wrenching out of context is done by the hate sites,and then [the authors] cite them to the original sources, in order to disguise the fact that they've gotten them from hate sites."

Not to be outdone by Yale admitting a high-ranking and unrepentant Taliban who excused jihadi execution of women kneeling in soccer fields by claiming "...There were also executions in Texas...", Harvard now unleashes both barrels at the Jews. Jews who love America, Jews who don't want to see Israel destroyed, and even Jews who keep giving heavily to Harvard's endowment fund.

This piece by two advocates of the limiting of American aid to (and ultimately, aiming for the destruction of) Israel can be summed up and rebutted quite briefly.

The authors never address a central question: which would benefit America more: Israel looking increasingly like her Arab neighbors, or the reverse?

Their failure to ask that question before they began their regurgitation* of years of pro--baathist, pro-leftist, anti-Christian, and anti-Jewish jeremiads reveals them to be either so intellectually shallow and/or blinded by their hatred of all things American and Christian and Jewish, that they prefer that Israel be destroyed and replaced by the muslim dictators found in almost all of the surrounding Arab "nations".

(*Many others have already noted that the authors' "research" is mirrored on the thousands of rabid Jew- hating and jihad-supporting websites scattered all over the WWW).

Looking at one of the authors "credits", we also note that:

Stephen Walt is the Robert and Renee Belfer Professor of International Affairs at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard. His most recent book is Taming American Power: The Global Response to US Primacy.

Not only does Professor Walt believe that America shouldn't be a global leader, but it seems he believes that the U.S. needs to be "tamed." In other words, he would prefer that other nations dominate the global stage; he is probably very upset with America's disgust with a UN Human Rights Council that has been led by such stalwarts of freedom such as Syria, Lybia and the Sudan.

So when Professor Walt and his co-author write that support for Israel is not in America's interest, we have to ask, when did he or his partner ever have America's best interests at heart?

Finally, these two geniuses from Harvard neglect to inform their readers exactly what benefits would accrue to America should we withdraw our support from Israel.

One obvious result of a reduction of American support would be to force Israel into an even deeper war economy to fight for her survival, with the concomitant reduction in Israeli research that has lead to major benefits for America, including the co-development of Intel and Motorola chips, along with the invention of instant messenger software used in computers and cell phones, technologies in use in not only in America but also used in most of the world's computers.

America (and the world) could also forget about the thousands of drug patents developed in Israel. I am sure that the authors believe that these could all be developed by the Arab world...

There is also the likely scenario that without American pressure on the common enemies faced by Israel and the U.S., the Israelis would conclude that their only safe option after further Arab attacks would be to conduct wholesale bombing on and inflict massive destruction of their enemies infrastructure (read "oil production" & "the Suez Canal").

One can only speculate, but possibly the authors privately support this as a method of Arab population control.

Finally, the authors neglect the entire issue of worldwide Islamic-fundamentalism and its multi-century (and koran-sanctioned) method and pattern of "accepting" surrender of infidels on the battlefield:

Without exception, for over thirteen centuries, any and every Islamic victory has always led to and would lead to new and further attacks on Islam's next target.

Islamo-fascist terror is spreading around the globe. If these two professors are not the paid agents of same, they certainly deserve the accolades of those who desire to spread Sharia and further Islamic-generated destruction.

As for the rest of us, we can only promise to never hire any Harvard graduate who has not publicly spoken out against these two shills for Osama Bin Laden.

The company distributing filmmaker Michael Moore's Bush-bashing movie "Fahrenheit 9/11" says it won't reject an offer of help from Middle East terrorist organization Hezbollah.

Homicide Bombers posing as college grads

Muslim members of the University of California, Irvine's graduating class will wear green sashes emblazoned with the word "shahada" in Arabic along with their commencement robes in tomorrow's ceremony - a reference some say is an incitement to violence that should not be allowed.

"Shahada" can be translated several ways, including as a declaration of faith in Islam, but it often is used in reference to "martyrdom" – especially martyrdom attained by suicide bombers.

Sally Peterson, dean of students at UCI, defended the university against critics who say the school shouldn't allow such a display.

Peterson admits the word "shahada," besides being a reference to Islam, "has also taken on many other meanings depending on where you sit. For some it is seen as 'kill all Jews' or it is seen as a reference to suicide bombers," she said.

St James the Moor Slayer, Spain's patron saint, has notched up another victory.

Church officials have been forced to overturn a decision to remove a statue of the saint from the cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in north-west Spain.

The statue, an 18th-century work by Jose Gambino which depicts St James on a white charger hacking off the heads of Moors beneath his rampant mount's hooves, was deemed to be offensive to Muslims.

However a spokesman for the church, which is Christendom's third holiest site after Rome and Jerusalem and attracts half a million pilgrims each year, said yesterday that, due to public anger over the proposed move, the statue will now remain in place.

Cathedral authorities in the pilgrim city of Santiago de Compostela, on Spain's north west coast, plan to move the statue to the museum.

Among the reasons for the move is to avoid upsetting the "sensitivities of other ethnic groups".

EARTH TO SPAIN! The statue is in YOUR CHURCH! Unless you are planning on turning over your churches to Osama, who is going to be offended?

The statue of St James "the Moor-slayer" is expected to be replaced by one depicting the calmer image of St. James "the Pilgrim", by the same 18th century artist, Jose Gambino.

The Saracen-slaying image of St James, or Santiago in Spanish, is a symbol of the fight between Christianity and Islam and the reconquest of Spain from eight centuries of Moorish rule before 1492.

The saint is said to have appeared to Christian troops fighting Moorish army at the Battle of Clavijo in 844, the
crusaders rallying to the cry of "Santiago y cierra Espana" - "St James, we will reconquer Spain".

Cathedral authorities insist the timing of the decision has nothing to do with the 11 March bombings in Madrid, which an Islamic group is alleged to have carried out.

ALLEGED? The Moroccans who were arrested have confessed to planning the attack BEFORE the liberation of Iraq, AND most of the al Queda who originally got away later BLEW THEMSELVES UP, rather than be arrested by the few Spanish who still have their "complete packages"!

Alejandro Barral, president of the cultural commission for the cathedral council, told BBC News Online:

"This is not an opportunistic decision. This is not through fear of fanatics of any kind and nothing to do with 11 March or 11 September."

He said the decision was taken a few years ago, but simply had not yet been implemented.

Mr Barral said the idea was to try to take the image of the saint back to its origins - St James as the apostle or pilgrim who took the word of Jesus to the Iberian Peninsula.

The Baroque image of a sword-wielding St James cutting the heads off Moors is not a very sensitive or evangelical image that fits the teachings of Christ, he added.

The statue, when it is eventually moved from the chapel in the cathedral, is not likely to be hidden from the six
million pilgrims and tourists who visit the city every year. It is due to take its place alongside dozens of other
images of St James in the cathedral museum.

Is Dershowitz The Perfect Useful Infidel?

Talk about chutzpah: Dershowitz almost gets hoisted by jihad-loving Leftists, but he still demands a new Sand-Nazi state carved out of Israel.

A salient passage in Alan Dershowitz's book "Chutzpah" tells of his intermittent disillusionment with the Left while at Harvard Law:

He and other Harvard law students had done some pro-bono work for "noted" Black Panther Angela Davis and other antiwar activists who had been arrested at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago in 1968.

When Davis was later leaving for a trip to Moscow, Dershowitz asked her to intercede for Russian Jews in the Soviet Union who were being persecuted for everything from lighting Chanukah candles to attempting to emigrate and make aliyah to Israel.

Davis turned him down, stating that she would do nothing to help "Zionist imperialists," no matter where they stood on other issues... 

Well, Perfessor, those Far-Left, Tides-Foundation(think John Kerry's wife)-funded pro-Arafat fascists you met at Faneuil Hall last week SUPPORT THE SAME INSANE DOO-DOO THAT YOU DO; creating another unneeded, combo Socialist / Sharia-based state fully capable of exporting more global terrorism.

From Bigotry outside Faneuil Hall: Prof. Alan Dershowitz , March 5, 2004.

The other day, I experienced violent anti-Semitism for the first time in my adult life. It took place in front of Faneuil Hall, the birthplace of American independence and liberty.

I was receiving a justice award from the Jewish Council on Public Affairs and delivering a talk on "Civil Liberties in the Age of Terrorism" from the podium of that historic hall. When I left, award in hand, I was accosted by a group of screaming, angry young men and women carrying virulently anti-Israel signs. The protest was denominated a peace event and was sponsored by a group calling themselves by the vague name ACT-MA.

Although the signs they were carrying were not anti-Semitic, [what a relief - Editor ] the sign carriers were shouting epithets at me that crossed the line from civility to bigotry. "Dershowitz and Hitler, just the same, the only difference is the name." The sin that, in the opinion of the screamers, warranted this comparison between me and the man who murdered dozens of my family members was my support for Israel. It was irrelevant to these chanters that I also support a Palestinian state, the end of the Israeli occupation and the dismantling of most of the settlements. [my emphasis - JP] They also shouted "Dershowitz and Gibbels [sic], just the same, the only difference is the name" - not even knowing how to pronounce the name of the anti-Semitic Nazi propagandist.

Welcome to and thank you for exposing the merger of the insane AND MODERATE Left and islamo-fascism, Professor. Aside from you and these fools both completely missing the irony of your and their shared desire to make Yesha Judenrein, it's time to finish your education and see how John Kerry's wife's Tides Foundation is funding your Osama wannabe's as well as the self-loathing "moderate" left-wing Jewicides of Gush Shalom.

The PLO Propaganda Film "Jenin, Jenin"

From San Francisco State to Columbia University, "Palestinian film festivals" are becoming one of the major propaganda venues for those seeking to dismantle Israel.[1]

The most widely seen of these films is "Jenin, Jenin," shot by an Israeli-Arab actor named Mohammed Bakri. "Jenin, Jenin" purports to be a documentary on the aftermath of the Jenin battle between the Israel Defense Forces and PLO terrorists that took place in `Jenin in 2002. The film has become standard fare at such screenings.

A Vicious, Anti-Semitic Film

Israeli Cabinet Minister Natan Sharansky went to Berlin in January to show German, French and
other European officials excerpts of a vicious, anti-Semitic film.

With all the media attacks on Mel Gibson and his new film, you might think Sharansky showed excerpts of The Passion of the Christ. He did not. Sharansky, for whom I briefly worked in 2000, wanted European officials to see a real anti-Semitic film. So he showed them excerpts of Al-Shatat ("The Diaspora"), a $5.1 million, 30-part "mini-series" produced by Syrian television. It was broadcast during Ramadan last year by Al-Mansar, Hezbollah's satellite television network. The film is "a Syrian TV series recording the criminal history of Zionism," according to a November 11, 2003 report in the Syria Times.

Episode Twenty of Al-Shatat ó which aired last November ó depicts a classic anti-Semitic blood libel. A Rabbi, played by an Arab actor, directs a member of his synagogue to help him:

1) kidnap the son of his Christian neighbor;
2) bring the boy to the synagogue;
3) slit the boy's throat;
4) drain the boy's blood into a basin;
5) use the blood to make Passover matzoh bread;
6) serve the matzoh to the members of the synagogue.

Why Mel Owes One to the Jews

Two weeks before Mel Gibson's Passion flashes onto two thousand screens, online ticket merchants are reporting that up to half their total sales are for advance purchases for Passion. One Dallas multiplex has reserved all twenty of its screens for The Passion. I am neither a prophet nor a movie critic. I am merely an Orthodox rabbi using ancient Jewish wisdom to make three predictions about The Passion.

One, Mel Gibson and Icon Productions will make a great deal of money. Those distributors who surrendered to pressure from Jewish organizations and passed on Passion will be kicking themselves, while Newmarket Films will laugh all the way to the bank. Theater owners are going to love this film.

Two, Passion will become famous as the most serious and substantive Biblical movie ever made. It will be one of the most talked-about entertainment events in history, it is currently on the cover of Newsweek and Vanity Fair.

My third prediction is that the faith of millions of Christians will become more fervent as Passion uplifts and inspires them. Passion will propel vast numbers of unreligious Americans to embrace Christianity. The movie will one day be seen as a harbinger of America's third great religious reawakening.

Those Jewish organizations that have squandered both time and money futilely protesting Passion, ostensibly in order to prevent pogroms in Pittsburgh, can hardly be proud of their performance. They failed at everything they attempted. They were hoping to ruin Gibson rather than enrich him. They were hoping to suppress Passion rather than promote it. Finally, they were hoping to help Jews rather than harm them.

And here's our 5 reasons we think the goyim should go see Gibson's movie (And yes, some overlap Rabbi Lapin's).

a/ Those religious Christians who support Israel as much as (and sadly, if not more than many Jews we know) will not turn around and hate us and attack us; indeed, Foxman has sold so many tickets for them and has religious Christians who support Israel [RCWSI] so frightened that some white trash ignorant Christian might blame/attack a Jew, that THEY, the RCWSI, will stand up against it and against any violence against Jews to protect the "spiritual integrity" of the film. Call me optimistic (see (d) if I am wrong).

b/ Seeing this movie might make waffly Christians more Christian. Probably a good thing for America as we head towards trying to save what's left of traditional family values, and as the war against islamo-fascism heats up.

c/ Goyim who will walk out of this movie hating us, and h'v might attack us because of it probably hated us and harbored violent fantasies against us anyway. One drop of Jewish blood is too many, but more Jews would be hurt by shutting down and shouting down this movie.

d/ If it does get out of control, either more Jews will join Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership or we can all go make aliyah and finally depose Sharon who is now floating the notion of INVITING the Egyptian army into Gaza. You can also call me naive of many of the subtleties of ha-matzav, but after watching American Jews celebrate Rabin and Peres BRINGING BACK ARAFAT from Tunisia, I don't think I am ready for the Likud bringing in the Egyptian army.

e/ BTW, where are Foxman, Denby, Frank Rich et al screaming about WHAT'S BEING PREACHED IN MOSQUES EVERY WEEK IN AMERICA? Where were they when hundreds of thousands of left-wing, kaffiyah-wearing, hamas-loving, student-trash marched in American streets with International [C]Answer in support of Arafat, Saddam and Bin Laden? ISRAELI police have come up with plans to place bags
of pig lard on buses in a bid to deter Palestinian
militants from carrying out suicide attacks, the Maariv
daily reported.

Rabbinical authorities have given the idea its approval
on the grounds that it could be a life-saving measure
even though pigs are also considered impure by Jews. .

Authorities believe that the move could discourage
Palestinians from carrying out attacks as pieces of their
exploded body could come into contact with the pig fat,
prejudicing their chances of entering into paradise.

The paper said that the rabbinical dispensation could
mean that security forces also hang bags of lard in
shopping malls and schools.

Public buses have been a favourite target for Palestinian
suicide bombers since the start of the intifada in

A Princeton historian's diagnosis of the Muslim world's malaise, and his call for a U.S. military invasion to seed democracy in the Mideast, have helped define the boldest shift in U.S. foreign policy in 50 years.

Bernard Lewis often tells audiences about an encounter he once had in Jordan. The Princeton University historian, author of more than 20 books on Islam and the Middle East, says he was chatting with Arab friends in Amman when one of them trotted out an argument familiar in that part of the world.

"We have time, we can wait," he quotes the Jordanian as saying. "We got rid of the Crusaders. We got rid of the Turks. We'll get rid of the Jews."

Hearing this claim "one too many times," Mr. Lewis says, he politely shot back, "Excuse me, but you've got your history wrong. The Turks got rid of the Crusaders. The British got rid of the Turks. The Jews got rid of the British. I wonder who is coming here next...."
